This letter is in regards to the middle school robotics program at Maplewood.

As most of you know, Mr. Kermitz retired at the end of the 2017/2018 school year. Mr. Thunes and Mr. Eastman at the high school will absorb the current Maplewood robotics team for the 2018/2019 school year. They are committed to providing the team with supplies and competition guidance.

The high school robotics team meets Mondays and Thursdays from 3-5 pm in room 123 at the high school. There is one Maplewood parent that is willing to facilitate transportation if needed.

The expectation is that students will do fundraising, actively participate in competitions and tournaments and participate in League nights at UW Fox Valley. There will be times when students will be required to provide their own transportation and bring their own supplies.

There will be a parent meeting in October with further information. This will also be a good time to address any questions or concerns.
