On behalf of the entire Menasha Joint School District community, I would like to welcome you to the Menasha Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment Department. Our Board of Education and each of our educators are committed to enhancing student learning. Our district has created a comprehensive curriculum that is continuously updated and has the capability to address the individual needs of each student. This curriculum will, as our district mission states, equip all students with the ability to function as lifelong learners and responsible citizens in their community.

The staff of the Menasha Joint School District work very hard to create a curriculum that identifies the essential knowledge and skills that all students should master and be able to apply to real life experiences. In creating curriculum for each discipline, our teachers have made a concerted effort to align this curriculum to the State of Wisconsin Model Academic Standards. As our teachers have engaged in this process, it has been their goal to create a curriculum that will be clear and concise to all audiences, easily accessible, and user friendly.

With this focus on student learning, our district has created a web-based curriculum program that is available to all audiences via the district's website. Using the Build Your Own Curriculum Software, our teachers have created curriculum that identifies courses, units, topics, and key concepts. The key concepts for each topic are aligned to local and state academic standards. We encourage all visitors to this site to browse this information and obtain an understanding of the curriculum being offered to our students.
