Welcome to the Banta Early Learning Center. We are excited to have you visit our web site.
The Banta Early Learning Center offers a variety of preschool programs for children ages 3-5. We believe children see themselves as others see them; therefore we create an environment where all children can find success. Learning is developmentally appropriate and child-centered.
The Early Learning Center curriculum provides opportunities for preschool age children to develop skills at an individual rate and is aligned with the Wisconsin Model Early Learning Standards. The pre-kindergarten programs offer opportunities for children to enhance their ability to listen and communicate. Children will also acquire the basic understandings and concepts of literacy. The Banta Early Learning Center focuses on the child's curiosity about the world and their developing ability to acquire, organize, and use information. The program encourages children to develop independence and take pride in their accomplishments while providing opportunities to develop the skills needed to succeed in social settings.
The Banta Early Learning Center also recognizes that young children learn from each other as well as from adults and that play is an essential and natural way for children to explore and learn from the world around them.
Parents and the community are an integral part of the Banta Early Learning Center. We believe that parents are a child's first and most important educator. Parent participation is critical to each child's success. The Banta Early Learning Center encourages options for preschoolers and leads the Interagency Community Preschool Council in its efforts to come together as a community to ensure that every child in Menasha receives quality early childhood education and care.
